Core Values:
1. Communication of God’s Truth
We believe we need to communicate God’s truth in ways each listener can understand. This Truth, as found in the Bible, is a major catalyst for God’s work in both the lives of individuals and in the life of the church.
2. Prayer
Prayer demonstrates dependence on God with the expectation of His response. It is vital and essential to the personal life of the believer and the corporate life of the church.
3. Worship
We believe that personal and corporate worship should be an authentic encounter with God. This encounter brings glory to God and encourages other believers.
4. Equipping of the Saints
The Church exists to equip and prepare local believers for the work of ministry.
5. Lost People
We believe that lost people matter to God; therefore, they matter to us.
6. Continuous Life Transformation
We believe that continuous life transformation is normal Christianity through the work of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
7. Community
We believe in building Biblically-functioning communities.
8. Excellence
We believe that excellence honors God and encourages people.
9. Genuineness
Christ-followers should manifest the characteristics of transparency, honesty and authenticity.
10. Creativity
God is the Creator of all and man is created in His image, thus, creativity in ministry will by expected.
11. Culturally Relevant
We believe the church should be relevant to the culture while remaining doctrinally pure.
Statement of Faith:
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the plenary, verbally inspired Word of God, infallible, God-breathed and inerrant as originally given.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in God the Father who is Spirit and Truth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, true God and true Man, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross for our sins according to the Scriptures. He arose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is now our advocate and High Priest, and indwells the believer. He will return to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit whose ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict the world of sin.
We believe that man was created in the image of God; chose to sin and is therefore spiritually dead. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can he obtain salvation and spiritual life.
We believe that salvation is the gift of God received by the repentance of personal sin, and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection.
We believe that the redeemed in Christ are secure forever.
We believe in believer’s baptism by immersion.
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is for the commemoration of the Lord’s death.
We believe that it is appointed unto man once to die and after this judgment will occur.
We believe in the pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ, along with the rapture of the Church on earth.
